5 Year Old Birthday Fun!

My super sweet Kalli girl is turing 5 next week, which is craziness!  How do these little people get big so fast?  Well Kalli is the best!  She was a very clinging, quiet little girl who only liked her momma and this year she has  come out of her shell!  She is funny and outgoing and caring and loving and compassionate and such a sweet little lady!
We celebrated this sweet girl with a Fancy Nancy Pajama Party!  She had 4 cute friends come over for fancy fun.  They got fancy hair and fancy nails and fancy food and lots of fun!  It was a fun party with lots of sweet girls!

Day 4- Sunset

Sunset is really further down on the list, but I went to beach at Thanksgiving and got to enjoy many beautiful sunsets.  One evening we did a little photo shoot with the amazing sunset.  I always look forward to Thanksgiving because if we are with my family we get to be at the beach and I get some great family pictures (because my sister and brother in-law are wonderful photographers!)

Day 3- Clouds

I am VERY slowly getting through my photo challenge list.  (Here are the clouds I actually took a while ago!)

Dreaming...

Last weekend I took family pictures of a good friend of mine.  They are of course a gorgeous family, so it was super easy and fun!  I was still nervous!  I look at so many photography blogs and I still don't see my work as professional quality.  I dream of someday being a photographer who gets paid, but I lack the confidence that my picture are good enough for people to pay me!  I am praying and thinking a lot about if this is a possibility and if I have the time and energy to put into making photography a part time gig.  So for now and am taking another friends family pictures this weekend and I will keep practicing and gaining my confidence and see what happens!

Day 2- What I am Wearing!

Well, again taking a picture of myself is not my favorite thing, but it is on the list, so here it is!  I love this top, so I thought today was a good day for this challenge!

I think the next challenge is Clouds, so that should be fun!!

Day 1: Self Portrait

Will this assignment is harder then it seems, for me at least.  My sister is the queen of gorgeous self portraits, and I do the best I can!  I always feel a little silly taking a picture of myself!  I have to decide how I am going to pose myself, should I sit or stand or do something crazy?  I also have to think if I am going to smile, or be serious, or make a funny face (I usually lean toward to funny face since I feel so awkward.)  Well I took quite a few pics, some smiling, some serious, and of course some silly.  So here are the two I decided on for this challenge!

Just cause.

I have been slacking on this blog and in the world of photography (I have taken a lot of portraits of the kids in my kiddos class!)  I am feeling like I need some creativity in my life and some more photography in my life.  I found this on Pinterest and thought I would give it a try.  However I don't think I will go at the "picture a day" pace (maybe every other day or every two days.)  So if any of you ladies (all three of you who know about this blog!) want to participate with me it could be fun!
